April 20: New tall paperbacks

What's the deal with these tall paperbacks? I'm really not a fan...the print isn't that much bigger. The only thing I can see different is stores charge about $2 more for them. I was all excited to see a new book in this series till I realized it was one of those tricky oversized ones.
